British Red Cross Society outdoor peak less storm cap badge

A very scarce original circa First World War period 'The British Red Cross Society cap badge', circular gilded brass example bearing white shield to centre, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with two loop fixings and split pin, enamel perfect, gilt finish bright. An excellent example.
