A scarce original Boer War period 'London Rifle Brigade gentleman's cravat pin in fitted presentation case' in the form of a very fine quality unmarked yellow precious metal small shield displaying the 'City Imperial Volunteers' 'CIV' monogram to the centre, with blue enamel title scroll below, surmounted by a dragon's wing charged with cross from the arms of 'City of London'. Very good condition, complete with original single spiral turned pin fitting, enamel perfect.
