National Union of Teachers Newport president badge

A good original vintage 'National Union of Teachers badge'; oval bearing Latin motto 'Fac et Spera' (Do and hope), mounted by a 'Lamp of Knowledge' with 'President' scroll above and further straight bar to the bottom 'Newport' the applied central device depicting two figures supporting a shield with 'NUT' to the center, the reverse inscribed 'J.Kitson 1980'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
