A good original post 1938 George VI period 'RAF No 30 Squadron gilt and enamel badge', depicting a Palm tree with French motto 'Ventre a terre' (All out), the reverse with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham.18'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt remain bright.
Height 34mm.

RAF No 30 Suadron heraldry symbol a date palm tree signifying the squadron's long service in the Middle East was approved by King George VI in May 1938.
