A scarce original 1930's promotional gilt and enamel song badge 'The Lambeth Walk', this version depicting the 'Pearly King and Queen' characters; the reverse with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham 18'. Very good condition, complete with original coiled pin fitting and hook catch, enamel perfect.

'The Lambeth Walk' was a song from the musical 'Me and My Girl' first made popular in 1937 by Lupino Lane, The song took its name from a notable street market in Lambeth Walk, London. 'The Lambeth Walk' was turned into a film in 1939.
