FROM HAROLD TO MOTHER carved jet military button sweetheart brooch

A unique Great War period brooch in the form of circular piece of polished spiral fluted edged Jet stone, set with a military 'General Service Button' to the centre with engraved surround 'From Harold to Mother'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, button with sevice wear.
