Church Lads Brigade CLB gilt hat badge

An excellent example of a 'Church Lads' Brigade Cap badge', gilt brass example retaining slider fitting to reverse and additional red perspex backing. Very good condition, gilt remains crisp.
Height 36mm.

The Church Lads' Brigade was founded in 1891 in Fulham by Walter Mallock Gee, their motto being 'Fight the Good Fight'. In 1978 they amalgamated with the Church Girls' Brigade to become the Church Lads' and Church Girls' Brigade.
