National Children’s Home Young Leaguer's Union 1910 silver charity badge

A very scarce original 1910 period 'Young Leaguer’s Union badge'; fine quality example in the form of a lifebouy with extended rope edge decoration and inscribed 'To Seek and to Save That Which is Lost.' (Luke 19:10) the voided centre bearing a flag pole depicting an open bible and a dove; the reverse impressed with Chester silver hallmarks for 1910 and maker's details 'J.D&Co' (Joseph Daffern & Co Hatton Garden, London.). Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings.
