A good original early 20th century period 'Guild of St Barnabas For Nurses small bronze medal' the obverse dated 1886 with the voided centre depicting a cross, the reverse bearing the biblical verse 'Blessed are the Merciful'. Good condition, complete with only 115mm of the original silk neck ribbon.
Height with ring 35mm.
The 'Guild of St Barnabas for Nurses' provided spiritual support for Christian nurses.
