National Union of Teachers Cheltenham president badge

A good original vintage 'National Union of Teachers badge'; oval bearing Latin motto 'Fac et Spera' (Do and hope), mounted by a 'Lamp of Knowledge' with 'President' scroll above and further scroll to the bottom 'Cheltenham' the applied central device depicting two figures supporting a shield with 'NUT' to the center, the badge is complete with red, white and blue enamel inlay. Good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel loss to central shield , scratched on reverse 1969.
