A scarce original early Elizabeth II period 'RAF No 16 Squadron gilt and enamel badge', the centre depicting crossed keys with Latin motto "Operta aperta" (Hidden things are revealed), the reverse with maker's details "H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham.18". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings with an old replacement pin, functional but missing the heal in turn making it floppy, enamel perfect, gilt remains bright.
