A scarce original pre-First World War period 'Veteran Reserve Notts gilt badge' small pattern example in the form of a blue enamel oval title, gilt Crown to voided centre, the reverse with maker's details "J.R. Gaunt London". Good condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, some damage to the enamel top middle and lower right edge, gilt finish remains bright.
