Royal Observer Corps Pre-1953 miniature ROC lapel badge.

A scarce originl pre-1953 unusual miniature size chromium plated lapel badge; pale blue enamel circlet bearing the motto "Forewarned is Forearmed" and "Royal Observer Corps" title, surmounted by a King's Crown, the centre depicts an Elizabethan coastwatcher holding a flaming torch and scanning the horizon. Very good condition, retaining original triangular buttonhole fitting with bobble finish, enamel intact.
