A scarce original early period circa 1940's 'Clay Pigeon Shooting Association badge'; gilded brass shield depicting crossed rifles and 'Clay Pigeon' on orange enamel ground, red title scrolls top and bottom with additional 'Member' scroll below; the reverse with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham" and impressed with low issue number "1531". Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt remains bright.
