P.B.Cow & Co for continuing production during air raids badge.

A very scarce original Second World War period chromium plated badge in the form of a shield bearing a parchment style scroll inscribed "Continuing Production During Air Raids" with further inscription "Presented By P.B.Cow & Co"; the reverse with makers details "Thomas Fattorini Ltd, Regent St, Birmingham" and impressed with official low issue number "168". Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings for a female worker, enamel perfect.
Height 29mm.

'P.B.Cow & Co' factories were in Streatham, Stanmore and Slough and specialised in the production of rubber and plastics equipment for the Royal Air Force including Barrage Balloons.
