Warwickshire Federation WI 1921 handicrafts exhibition badge.

A rare original '1921 Exhibition Warwickshire Federation Women's Institutes badge', gilded brass oval, the fretted centre bearing the "WI" monogram, flanked by a red enamel rose and Canadian maple leaf, with motto "For Home and Country" inlaid in green enamel; suspended from a green silk ribbon with red enamel bars, the reverse impressed with maker's details "Fattorini & Sons Bradford". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel small dark bruise to top left bar, gilt remains bright.
