Royal National Lifeboat Institution RNLI Lifeboat Saturday 1909 badge

A well designed rare example of an Edward VII period 'Life Boat Saturday Fund' charity fund raiser's badge; pressed gilt metal in the form of a lifeboatman holding a lifebuoy; the reverse impressed with "REGD. 518810" a Registration, Design and Patent for the year 1908. Very good condition, complete with pin, gilt remains bright.
