Colchester Women Workers League Rowhedge branch badge

A good original circa 1904 -1936 'Colchester Women Worker's League political badge'; gilded brass example in the form of a 'Canterbury Cross' inlaid with blue and white enamel, Union flag to the centre within title surround, mounted on a slender bar inscribed "1904 1936"; the reverse impressed with maker's details "W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ld B'Ham" with inscription "For Long and Active Service To The Rowhedge Branch". Very good condition, enamel intact.
