Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps QARANC cap badge

A scarce original early post 1953 period 'Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps officer's gilt cap badge', Queen Elizabeth crowned wreath bearing "Sub cruce Candida" (Under the White Cross) scrolls, the Dannebrog lettered "A" for Alexandra to the center "Q.A.R.A.N.C" applied silvered title below; the reverse with maker's details "J.R.Gaunt London", complete with long two loop fittings, gilt finish remains crisp. Excellent condition.
