Boys Brigade Squad medal 1924 hallmarked silver.

A rare original pre-1926 issue 'Boys Brigade Squad Medal'; eight pointed star with well defined rays, 'Sure & Stedfast Anchor' flanked by large 'B's' all in high relief and suspended from its original blue silk ribbon and wide suspension bar complete with pin fittings; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1924 and maker's details "TBW" (T B Wilkins). Very good clean condition, polishing to highpoints of anchor, pin shank and pin an old replacement.
