WW1 Northamptonshire Special Constable police constabulary reserve badge

A very scarce original First World War period 'Northamptonshire Special Constable lapel badge', gilded brass circular example, blue enamel title surround, convex button style centre bearing a rose from the 'Northamptonshire County Arms'. Very good condition, retaining original substantial pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt remains fresh, an excellent example.
