WW2 ARP Vickers-Armstrongs 1940 silver Air Raid Precautions badge

A scarce original wartime issue 'Vickers-Armstrongs Air Raid Precautions pin badge', depicting the companies 'VA' monogram surmounted by 'A.R.P.', the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1940 (Q) and maker's details 'JRG&S' (J.R.Gaunt & Son). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.
