RAF No 175 Squadron Royal Air Force badge circa 1940s

A rare original George VI period 'RAF No 175 Squadron gilt and enamel badge', the centre bearing a Bull's Head' and with motto "Stop at Nothing", the reverse with maker's details "H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham.18". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt remains bright, an excellent example.
Height 33mm.

RAF No.175 Squadron was formed at Warmwell in 1942 and disbanded in 1945.
