Greetings Fom The Guinea Pig Club opaque glass souvenir dish

A scarce original circa 1970's opaque glass pin dish or ashtray, which depicts a surface transfer of a winged guinea pig and inscribed "Greetings Fom The Guinea Pig Club". Very good condition, no chips or cracks, two small scratches to the back of guinea pig not affecting the appearance.
Width approx 124mm.
Height approx 95mm.

Guinea Pig Club consisted of only 639 members, they were very badly burned Royal Air Force aircrew who received pioneering plastic surgery from the famous surgeon Sir Archibald MacIndoe at the hospital in East Grinstead.
