King George V 1911 Coronation Boys Brigade & Scouts presentation medal
A rare original '1911 Coronation commemorative bronze medal', the obverse depicting an allegorical figure of Britannia holding the Crown and inscribed "To Commemorate The Coronation June 1911"; the reverse bearing the 'Arms of Nottingham' and inscribed "Presented By The Hon Mrs J A Morrison To Those Members of The Boys Brigade & Scouts Contingent Who Lined The Route on The Occasion of The War Veterans Great Parade Nottingham June 20th 1911". Very good condition, complete with original green silk ribbon sewn at the top.
