British Red Cross Society County of Cheshire badge

A very good early issue example of a 'British Red Cross Society County of Cheshire gilt and enamel badge', the reverse with maker's details "J.R Gaunt London" and inscribed "7840 Sarah A Lomax". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
Height 50mm.

The British Red Cross Society County / Branch badge was Instituted in 1911 and Discontinued in 1956.
