A scarce original post-war issue 'State Certified Midwife hat badge'; large blue felt oval example, bearing silver rope edged black title band with the initial "SCM"; the centre depicting symbolic figure of 'Juno Lucina' Roman goddess of childbirth in silvered metal and reverse with paper covered hessian lining. Very good used condition.
