A scarce original Second World War period 'N.A.S.C aircraft spotters badge'; brass circular example inlaid with blue enamel, depicting in high relief a fighter aircraft in flight above a silhouette of city rooftops, the reverse with maker's details "Roden London" Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, an excellent example.

Formed during the War from keen volunteers to identify friend or foe aircraft in flight over towns and country, a subject very popular with schoolboys.
