A scarce original Second World War period early official issue 'Home Guard' short overlay strip to modify 'Local Defence Volunteers' armlet' before full armbands became available; black printed 'Home Guard' on khaki twill, designed to sew over original 'LDV' lettering. Good condition, commensurate with age.
