London Transport central bus crew c1980s cap badge

A very good clean example of an original circa 1980's period 'London Transport chromium plated bus crew cap badge' inlaid with blue and white enamel, depicting the late feature dashes instead of dots. Very good condition, retaining original two loop fittings and split pin, enamel perfect.
Height 37mm.

The 'London Transport Standard cap badge' was issued from 1934 up until the 1987. In the late 1950's the finish was changed from nickel plating to chromium plating.
