Jimmy Carruthers Australian world boxing champion matchbox cover

A scarce original circa 1950's British Made celluloid covered tin matchbox cover, the front displaying a photographic image of Australia's first world's boxing champion "Jimmy Carruthers Undefeated World's Bantamweight Champion" the reverse with image of "The Bells Hotel Corner Bourke Street and Cooper Wharf Road, East Sydney" Woolloomooloo New South Wales, Australia, which he owned in the 1950's. Very good condition, minimal foxing, colours remain bright.
