Bournemouth Corporation Tramways brass cap badge 1902 to 1936

A scarce original 'Bournemouth Corporation Tramways cap badge' worn above either a Conductor or Motorman script scroll; die-stamped brass example bearing the 'Bournemouth Coat of Arms' depicting a pine tree, with Latin motto tri-part scroll below "Pulchritudo et Salubritas" (Beauty and Health). Very good condition, retaining original two loop fittings, very minor verdigris spots, otherwise an excellent example.
