WW1 Somerset County Volunteer Regiment VTC badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Somerset County VTC lapel badge', die- stamped bronzed circlet surmounted by a George V Crown, the central shield bearing a 'Dragon' with curved scroll below "Volunteer Regiment", the reverse impressed with "REG638232" a Registered Design and Patent date of 1914. Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole horseshoe fitting.
