CEF 1st Canadian division formation sign Lest We Forget badge

A scarce original circa First World War period '1st Canadian Division Lest We Forget badge', gilded brass small circular example, embossed to the obverse "1st CDN.DIV. LEST WE FORGET", the reverse bearing an oblong lapel fitting, inlaid with red enamel, representing their divisional formation patch and designed to be worn two ways. Very good condition, gilt remains bright, very minor stress mark to enamel.
