WW1 On War Service woman munition worker character figural badge

A superb example of a rare Great War period, possibly a flag day collector fundraiser's badge; gilt metal quatrefoil shape surround depicting a female munition worker in factory uniform to voided centre, inlaid in blue enamel, the reverse impressed "Protected" with hard to decipher signature "Casaiue"? "Rd 660671" a registered, design and patent date of 1916. Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings and suspension ring, enamel perfect.
