RAF No 36 Squadron Royal Air Force Badge circa 1940s

A scarce original George VI period 'RAF No 36 Squadron gilt and enamel badge', the centre bearing an 'Eagle' and with Malay motto "Rajawali raja langit" (Eagle King of the sky), the reverse with maker's details "H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham.18". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt remains bright, an excellent example.
