WW2 Queen Alexandras Royal Naval Nursing Service hat badge

A rare original Second World War period Queen Alexandra's Royal Naval Nursing Service hat badge, King George VI Crown above 'Queen Alexandra cypher' of crossed initials "A" embroidered in red silk cotton and intertwined around a gold wire anchor, the reverse with black paper lining patially worn. Very good condition, gold bullion remains bright, normally raw edge with additional blanket stitching.
