British Tanker Company shipping line gold bullion officers cap badge

A good original pre-1955 period 'British Tanker Company officer's gold bullion padded cap badge', depicting the house flag of the oil company, a St George's cross with superimposed green diamond set within gold bullion laurel wreath, surmounted by a gilt passant guardant lion; the reverse with black waxed hessian lining. Very good used condition, bullion a little dulled with age.
