Royal Air Force Hurricane fighter plane badge circa 1940s

A scarce original circa 1940's 'RAF Hurricane Fighter Plane badge', gilded brass stylized aircraft, the fuselage inlaid with black enamelling, the wings in red. Very good condition, retaining original pin fitting and hooked catch, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an exceptionally good example.
