Church Lads Brigade CLB officers hat badge

A good original turn of the century 'Church Lads Brigade officer's hat badge', large gilt brass example bearing the motto "Fight The Good Fight" voided centre with red felt backing. Very good condition, retaining original two loop fittings and split pin.
Height 47mm.


The Church Lads' Brigade was founded in 1891 in Fulham by Walter Mallock Gee, their motto being 'Fight the Good Fight'. In 1978 they amalgamated with the Church Girls' Brigade to become the Church Lads' and Church Girls' Brigade.
