Boy Scouts Honorary Surgeon Officer lapel badge

A rare original pre-1947 "Boy Scouts Honorary Surgeon Officer's lapel badge", circular brass example, green enamel ring to the edge, red cross on white enamel ground, bearing arrowhead with stars in yellow enamel to the centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details "Collins London". Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole horseshoe fitting, no damage to the enamel, minimal service wear, an excellent example.
