A rare wartime period Air Raid Precautions badge for the 'Armstrong Siddeley Motors Ltd', designed in the style of an aircraft engine, with yellow enamel circlet title and 'ARP within on black enamel ground; the reverse with maker's details "Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford ? Birmingham". Good condition, retaining original buttonhole horseshoe fitting (now twisted) enamel intact, but with heavy surface crazing and scratches.
