A scarce short lived 1983 - 1988 'Townsend Thoresen European Ferries' officer's cap badge; gilt Merchant Navy Crown, surmounting rope edged red velvet padded centre, bearing the companies logo "TTF" in gilt, all within gold bullion laurel wreath, the reverse with black cotton lining and sewn to its original woollen cap band. Fair condition, verdigris to metal parts and bullion.
