University College Hospital 1934 silver UCH nurses buckle

A rare early 1930's silver nurse's buckle, bearing the coat of Arms of the 'University College Hospital' and motto `Ratione dirige cursum' (Govern your course by reason); the front bearing London silver hallmarks for 1934 and maker's details "P&Ws". Good condition, heavy service wear, surface scratches, edge knocks particularly to top left corner, original attached loop present, seperate belt loop now absent.
