Cyclists Touring Club CTC winged cycle wheel badge and 1891 certificate

A rare Victorian 1891 membership certificate and silver holder, the central cog bearing "Trade Mark" to the front and "Rd 44233" a registered, design and patent date of early 1886 to the rear, hinged design which opens to reveal a 1891 dated enamel Cyclists' Touring Club Membership Certificate" to "3410 E.H.Tugwell, Lewisham Rd, Greenwich" with facsimile signature by the Secretary of the time "Ernest R Shipton". Very good condition, complete with original two prong pin fittings, perfect open and close movement, age wear to the certificate and date faded, otherwise an excellent example.
