A scarce original First World War period badge worn by a volunteer collector raising funds for the cause; gilded brass circular example bearing a 'Red Cross' and title surround 'West Hartlepool's Help To Allied Hospitals'. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
