British Red Cross Society County of Northampton badge

A scarce 'British Red Cross Society County of Northampton' gilt and enamel badge, the reverse with maker's details "J.R Gaunt London". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, except for a tiny nick to the right scroll.
Height 49mm.

The British Red Cross Society County / Branch badge was Instituted in 1911 and Discontinued in 1956.
