1948 Olympic Games London hockey player competitors badge

A scarce original competitor's badge for the '1948 London Olympic Games', a bronze example depicting embossed view of 'Palace of Westminster' in London and officially known 'Elizabeth Tower' (Big Ben), inscribed "XIV Olympiad London 1948" with 'Olympic rings' below and brown ribbon with only traces of the title "Hockey"; the reverse with maker's details "Fattorini & Sons Ld Bradford Works Birmingham". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings.
