A good quality rare First World War period 'H.M. Queen Mary's R.N. Hospital Southend 1915' nurse's gilt badge bearing Queen Mary's Royal cypher to the centre on white enamel ground within blue enamel oval title. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt remains bright, very minor stain to reverse.
