A scarce original period 'No 32 Squadron Royal Air Force' gilt and enamel badge, depicting a bow strung horn with Latin motto "Adeste Comites" (Rally round comrades), the reverse with maker's details "H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham.18". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, perfect enamel, gilt remains fresh.
Height 34mm.

During the Battle of Britain 32 Squadron flew the Hawker Hurricane from RAF Station Biggin Hill. It later converted to the Spitfire and operated in the Middle East.
